MISSING THE TARGET IS A MISTAKE, BUT A BIGGER PROBLEM IS NOT TAKING THE RESPONSIBILITY TO SHOT AT THE GOAL AT ALL AS ATTACKERS MUST ACCEPT THE RISK OF FAILURE.
Goalscoring depends on many factors:
Attitude and behavior of the coach
Attitude and behavior of the players
Quality of final passes, especially assists (and reception)
Shots (consider: distance to the goal, angle, position of the goalie, number of players between the shooter and the goal, and trajectory of the pass to the shooter)
And this season, we will be working on various goalscoring situations at our Strikers School! The academy provides a positive environment for boys and girls ages 8-12 to develop their skills, both to ignite a passion for soccer and to reach their potential in the sport. We specialize in helping players improve their goal-scoring instincts and confidence in order to become successful players. Delivering fun coaching sessions with disguised techniques and introductory tactics will be the key to our young players’ development and love for the game.
Our certified coaches will teach technical skills in small groups. Please check out our Goalkeeping School schedule below to learn more about the practice details:

It's often said of good strikers that they score goals out of nowhere, but it's really a combination of a very advanced range of skills and moves that we take for granted on a daily basis. These skills are of the utmost importance and therefore a striker must devote more time to striker training exercises such as chipping, scooping, heading, crossing, and more. The best way to improve your attacking abilities is to focus your training on striker-specific drills for attacking skill moves.
With so much pressure on strikers to score goals and perform for their team, confidence is vital to success and should not be ignored. Striker-specific training and repetition of the niche skills required to succeed can help combat this.
Strikers must believe in their ability to succeed and therefore must believe in themselves. This self-belief derives from countless hours of practice and preparation, as well as a great deal of experience in shooting and scoring goals which in turn builds more confidence. Team training will never be enough to offer a striker the confidence he or she requires. Practice builds confidence and the mindset to score.
