Pick-Up Soccer
Looking for extra touches on the ball? Want to play soccer or just spend time outdoors? Our Friday pick-up sessions are open to everyone in the DC Way community.
What is Pick-Up Soccer?
Pick-up soccer is unstructured, informal play where players show up and just play. There are no set teams, no formal coaching, and no pressure. It's all about getting touches on the ball, trying new things, and enjoying the game in a relaxed setting.
Players can jump into games, work on individual skills, or practice with friends. It's soccer the way it's meant to be played: fun, creative, and free.

Benefits of Playing Pick-Up Soccer
More Touches on the Ball
The more you play, the better you get. Pick-up soccer gives players extra time with the ball outside of structured training.
Freedom to Experiment
No game plan, no pressure. Players can try new moves, take risks, and learn from mistakes without worrying about the outcome.
Builds Confidence
Playing in a low-pressure environment helps players develop decision-making skills and gain confidence on the ball.
Strengthens Community
Pick-up sessions bring together players, parents, and coaches. It's a chance to connect, meet new people, and stay involved with DC Way off the training field.
Keeps Players Active
Especially during off-days, pick-up soccer is a great way to stay sharp, stay fit, and keep the love for the game alive.
Pick-up soccer is what brings our community together. Whether you're a regular or it's your first time, you're always welcome. See you on the field!
