Futsal Skills Clinics at Sherwood Rec
Alongside our After-School Program, DC Way now offers Futsal Skills Clinics for Kindergarten–4th Grade at Sherwood Recreation Center, running Monday through Friday for 11 weeks starting December 1st. Futsal is an exciting, fast-paced version of soccer played indoors — and it’s one of the best ways for young players to develop confidence, quick thinking, and great footwork while having tons of fun with friends.
Our enthusiastic DC Way coaches create a positive, high-energy environment where kids can build creativity, improve coordination, and enjoy the game year-round.
Kindergarten–1st Grade: 3:45–4:30 PM | 11 Sessions $200 | One Day $25
2nd–4th Grade: 4:35–5:35 PM | 11 Sessions $220 | One Day $25
No classes on Jan 19 (Mon), Jan 26 (Mon), Feb 13 (Fri), and Feb 16 (Mon)

What a Day Looks Like
Sample Daily Schedule for After-School Program:
3:15 PM – Safe walking school pick-up from SWS, Ludlow ES, Capitol Hill Montessori at Logan, and other nearby schools based on interest
3:30 PM – Group check-in
3:40 PM – Snack time
4:00 PM – First enrichment activity (Art or Active Play)
4:45 PM – Second activity (Games or Sports)
5:30 PM – Wind-down with board games or creative projects
6:00 PM – Parent pick-up at Sherwood Recreation Center

No, we do not provide snacks. Please pack a small snack for your child.

No, but prorated refunds are considered for medical absences.
5) What if my child misses a session?
We can review written requests for prorated credit in case of illness or emergency.
6) Is this program open to all skill levels?
Yes! Activities are inclusive and designed for all experience levels.
7) Can I sign up for just one or two days a week?
Absolutely. Choose the days that work best for your family.
